Exhibition Rules

  1. The PRAGA 2018 Specialized World Stamp Exhibition (further abbreviated as „Exhibition“) takes place from August 15 to 18, 2018. The Organizer of the Exhibition is Spolek Světová výstava poštovních známek PRAGA 2018, z.s. in co-operation with the Union of Czech Philatelists (Svaz českých filatelistů, z.s.). The exhibition has been organized under patronage of the Fédération Internationale de Philatélie (FIP) and under recognition of the Federation of European Philatelic Associations (FEPA). The main exhibition venue is Clarion Congress Hotel (Freyova 33, Praha 9), the Literature Exhibition Class to be situated at Prague Postal Museum (Nové Mlýny 2, Praha 1). The rules for exhibiting have been incorporated into the IREX Document.

 

  1. The accompanying events to the Exhibition are:
  • EXPO International Philatelic Fair at Olympik Tristar Hotel (U Sluncové 14, Praha 8) organized by Double Impact s.r.o.
  • Alfons Mucha stamps presentation at Mucha Museum Prague (Panská 7, Praha 1)
  • Auction run by Auktionshaus Christoph Gärtner GmbH & Co. KG in the premises of Clarion Congress Hotel
  • Seminars and conferences organized in the exhibition venue in the co-operation with Organising Committee of the Exhibition.

 

  1. The exhibition to be open for public from Wednesday August 15 to August 18, 2018; from Wednesday to Friday from 10am to 6pm and on Saturday from 10am to 4pm.

 

  1. The admission tickets for the exhibition are as follows:
  • Basic one-day ticket – CZK 300,00
  • Permanent ticket for all the exhibition days – CZK 1.000,00
  • Reduced tickers for youth up to 16 years of age – CZK 50,00
  • The Czech Postal Administration employees shall be admitted free of charge, when presenting the company identification card
  • The professional journalists and the AIJP members shall be admitted free of charge, when presenting press identification card
  • The visitors invited by the Organising Committee shall be admitted free of charge, when presenting a free ticket for the Exhibition or a badge issued by the Organising Committee.
  • The admission tickets are sold via the website ticketportal.cz

 

  1. The Organising Committee office together with the information desk of Union of the Czech Philatelists are situated at the third floor of the Clarion Congress Hotel.

 

  1. Visitors of the Exhibition are obliged to lodge larger bags, umbrellas and coats in the cloakroom.

 

  1. Neither the dogs not any other animals are allowed to enter the exhibition area. The visitors are forbidden to touch the exhibition equipment, the exhibits, or the glass surface of the exhibition frames. Smoking and open fire are strictly forbidden in the all exhibition area. The food and beverages consumption is forbidden outside of the reserved area. It is not allowed to take photographs and call within the exhibition area.

 

  1. The visitors are not allowed to offer, to exchange and/or to trade any collectibles items outside of the exhibition sales booths.

 

  1. The distribution of any advertising, promotional, informative materials and/or distribution of any other materials in the exhibition area, taking the photographs or filming within the exhibition are to be allowed only after a prior written consent of the Organizer.

 

  1. The visitors are obliged to follow the instruction issued by the Organizer.

 

  1. If the visitor caused any damage at the Exhibition, he/she is obliged to compensate all the damages in line with the current wording of the New Civil Code (Act # 89/2012 Coll.).
